Play is the work of childhood.

Developmental researchers agree that in early childhood, little ones need lots of unstructured play, even more than they need to go to classes or learn their ABC's.

In addition to socialization and exercise, our play areas are specifically designed to give young children an opportunity to use their big muscles (arms, legs and core) to practice skills like balance, walking and climbing.  We also have activities to help develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills (hand strengthening), while they are also free to be creative and use their imagination.

When creating our space, we invested in beautiful wooden play structures that have non-toxic paints and were manufactured right here in New England.
